UPDATE

The blocks should be at 400% from this original size. That will be the size they will be displayed in. The second picture is the sprite size in alignment to the stage blocks. The blocks are currently "naked" as we havn't decided on locations and such. ~thewhantahndestroyer Has decided that it will be in "real time" which he's going to EXPLAIN TO ME. o.o;; I am currently working on story boards and such things. Still havn't scanned all that other stuff, but I will when I get the chance.

Okay! Since a few people expressed interest in my tactics game idea I thought that I'd give everyone a chance to become apart of this project if they so desired. As I mentioned before we deffinately need spriters. We also need monster character designs and npcs and the like. If you would like to write a chapter of the game that would be fine too! The animating will be about 10 or 12 fps, which is only 4 frames for most actions (such as idle stance and walking and the like)

I decided there will be ten chapters, and one boss? battle per chapter since I don't want this game to be too time consuming but really thats up to ~ninjamuffinman since he's programming it, and basically I won't be dealing too much with technical things because if I did then the game would suck.

The two main characters of this game are little twin nekomimi Tomori and Momori

After a fight with their sister Kagaribi (that they can win or lose; doesn't matter) the girls run away, which is dangerous to do in their day and age. Basically they get lost in an enchanted wood (it's not haunted or enchanted, but being special little girls thats how they see it. It's actually a time rift caused by the taint of nonki. It sometimes is a replica of the worlds past, and sometimes leads the girls through broken realities. lotsa scary things o-o) I know what happens at the very beginning and what happens at the very end (there will be a good and a bad ending, and maybe a few other endings.) They meet maybe 3 support characters throughout the game, one of them being Seiketsu who is a bastard and kidnaps Tomori and makes her a sad killing machine in Apotheosis D: But A-pon Tactics though a little creepy is deffinately much more lighthearted and "fun"! Maybe even a little ecchi because... I'm an ecchi.

Being an idol is probably a bad idea but I'm doing it anyway.

That is only one of my bad ideas though of course! As of last night I started working on the designs of a tactics game. I'll leave it up to the programmer of what style of tactics game it will be (leaning more towards FFT or Disgaea or whuteva) I'll be working on main character sprites and story, ~thewhantahndestroyer will work on monster sprites and whatever other sprites. Does anyone else want to sprite? ^-^ Or do back grounds?

It's a really simple game that I think we working on Apotheosis should do for practice. I'm going to make it in flash so I can just post it where ever and the file size shouldn't be too big. Um. Really I don't know anything about that stuff, it's up to whoever programs it but I havn't gotten a reply from ~ninjamuffinman yets. Dodidodido

I have only started really thinking about the concept, but I've had this idea for a while, at first I wanted to make an H game but... Does not approve. So! Just a cute tactics game will suffice ^-^ The story won't be anything too complex but maybe a little scary, because this is Apotheosis after all. This game won't have anything to do with the actual Apotheosis game, as it will mostly focus around the Kirameki sisters, specifically the twins Tomori and Momori. I'm thinking just something like. They're trying to escape some castle or forest. Maybe it will actually be a little prelude to their past. But nothing too significant.

Theres going to be an idol contest at a-kon!!!! Kyaaa! ^o^ I suck at everything but being an idol looks so fun so I really hope that I can be apart of this!! I get to be in cosplay as well *-* I'm going to fix my Komugi costume because that one is deffinately the best for being an idol. I have to sing a japanese song, but I'm not sure what to sing. I was thinking WONDER MOMO-i [link] But what would you suggest? ^o^ It has to be very energetic and cute!! >w< Help me help me please!

I'm redesigning the entirety of those previously known as the "loli brigade" as they really don't fit in with Apotheosis at all... But they could. And character wise they're pretty cool and important. Taking them to a different context could really help some people who are struggling to fit in (such as Daremo and Hihumi) This of course isn't important to you, or even to the people who are interested in this project, but It's in my mind, and I always feel so euphoric when I come to these relelations.

I was thinking about it a little, and if he'll let me I was thinking of re-dubbing them the "noise brigade" as a tribute to ~ultraanton who is probably one of the most amazing people I've ever met and I really wish I knew him better.

More added later now:

Exterminated characters: Ruriko and Mitsumi. They're just cookie cutter girls [may appear as NPCs anyhow... I still like them]

The leader will remain Tencho [Hitori], who will not change a whole lot. A fourteen year old with a [traumatic] past and a blood hungry hatred for men. She has a precocious mind, but her body remained in stasis at the age of nine. Although she hates her body, she has no problem using her adolescent appearance to her advantage. Two people made Tencho what she is. One person destroyed her psyche and broke her heart while the other [partially] mended it and gave her the incentive to stop being merely a broken little girl. Her [twisted] ambitious and consquent mind is reconized, respected, and feared by those who follow her. Her true intentions are not what they seem.

Megumi [the right hand man] will change a little physically. Instead of being the same age as Hitori she will be a little older. Sixteen or seventeen or eighteen. Megumi has a disdain for most of humanity; other members of the brigade are not exempt. Her history is mostly an uneventful normal sort. ~thewhantahndestroyer wanted her to be angry all the time, but she has no reason to, so she will be stoic. Terribly mean as hell but stoic.

The most beautiful of the girls is Nadeshiko. Since she's a recent character, and we have a better idea of what we're doing, she hasn't changed although she did replace an original cake girl named Kaori who was mostly a rip off of another character. She is secretly very vain, thinking herself superior to just about everyone. With good reason as well, because she's surrealy pretty and intelligent. The only person she considerers her equal is Tencho. She is also cruel although not as apparent about it as Megumi. She has a sweet smile.

Reiki is sweet and innocent and naive. She's thirteen instead of eleven, but still in love with Hikari. If we keep the animal hybrids in the game, then she is a kitsune mimi. We can of course figure out some less conspicous way to have experimented humans marked. Anyhow, those who were genetically enhanced are regarded in much the same way as immigrants were back in the 1920s. Despite most people's opinions and actions towards her, Reiki remains good natured and kind, possibly because she is a little on the slow side.

Hikari is also kind and generous. She is very laid back but realizes the need for change in the world, which is why she agreed to contribute her talents. If you wanna know an embarassing secret I havn't figured out what those are yet. She might be a hacker or something but thats pretty generic... She enjoys dancing, and glow sticks. You never see her without them. In fact, I'm totally incorporating l.e.d bracelets into her costume. So cool...

Mamimi is a young girl from the streets, very adorable imo but sickeningly greedy and single minded. She's a little stupid. The stupidest of the bunch. But she's sneaky and good at what she does (petty theivery mostly). Basically she tries to execute her trade but gets the shit kicked out of her by Megumi. Hitori needs someone expendable. If you've ever read Julie of the Wolves, Mamimi is sort of the "Jello" of the troup. (shut up)

Hihumi is one of the early characters of apotheosis. But she has never really had a place and her design has wavered a whole lot. She was originally a reckless, but probably no longer. She is a Nazi and visual kei enthusiast. Most of humanity's past remains in shambles but she happened to of come across a copy of "Viereinhalb Jahre [des Kampfes] gegen Lüge, Dummheit und Feigheit". She admires Tencho and Hasegawa for their dictator-like qualities. I think she might betray the brigade to Hasegawa, but I'm not quite sure of their opposition yet. A very long time ago they were supposed to be main adversaries, but why?!

Finally, Daremo and I had an epiphany together. She has always been different from the other people, because she mainly exsists in a state of inertia to escape something in the "real" world. Melancholy and sadness and winter... Daremo is a dreamer, although she always looks sad, perhaps because she wants to be apart of the world with everyone else. She is very alone in her world, but she is also alone while with everyone else. Daremo dreams with all her heart which draws the mind of the Lilith who tainted her and gave her the ability to leave her body and interact with existance in it's most profound and absolute form. She is a part of [Noise] because of Tencho. Their lives have both been touched by the Key Enigma.
