Bliss
I love my life so much! Ever since I went away to Seattle my mind has become steadily clearer. I dropped out of high school, but I really feel as though this is the way I should be going. That school... it was really getting me down. I can't even express it in words. It was like being steeped in a glutinous toxic liquid. I noticed it, yet I felt trapped, as if there was nothing to do but just wait it out... After two weeks of freedom, I realized that I couldn't go back, I just couldn't. The diploma isn't worth even a month... and I had about six or so to go.
Mmm... I can feel the muse returning to me, filling me to the brim with delicious golden opportunity... <3
btw I'm getting my GED and going to college :F
Just for my own fun lets look at the growth of Toki. Not me, the character Toki. That looks like me. o_o She's basically me if I was awesome T_T I guess.
This is the first picture of her I submitted, but she is actually about three years old. Or 2.5... I made her up in sophmore year... T-T She was inspired by Square Enix way back when! Thats why I decided to enter her in the contest :3 She was sort of destined for this. I don't think I'll make it to the finals, but I was still inspired by the contest to continue improving her design. So I felt obligated somehow I suppose.
New drawing and old! The old one was colored with mouse... The only thing thats actually changed is her shirt. I decided I like the hiragana better. People have different clothes you know, and alot of hers are just simular to others I guess ;-; Actually, she's a seamstress. A very bad one but she makes all her own cloths none the less! She has lots of shoes with faces on them...

I dropped out, you know, and now I have to waste more time going back to finish the stupid thing. High School was killing me. I hated it so much. I hated everything so much. I would have felt a thousand times better had I dropped out half way through, rather than suffer through it all the way and for what? Just to fail anyway.
But now I have to go get that stupid diploma. I'm not looking forward to it but I want to have it.
It always seems like a good idea at the time, but you know, nobody ever says, "I wish I would have dropped out of high school."
